Creating Community Through People, Parks and Programs! The Parks & Recreation Department provides the residents of Moraga with exceptional recreational opportunities for all ages.

Office Hours:

The Parks & Recreation Department is located at Hacienda de las Flores Park, 2100 Donald Drive. Office hours are 9:00 am  - Noon and 1:00 to 5:00 pm every day.  Offices are closed  alternate Fridays, when the Town offices are closed

Parks & Recreation

The Department is responsible for Creating Community through People, Parks and Programs!  We recognize that parks improve the quality of life, and Moraga is well known for its parks and open space.  We offer a variety of programs and activities for people of all ages and interest. From special events, summer camps, senior trips, tot classes, and enrichment activities for all ages, we provide the fun and rewarding experiences for our residents. Staff oversee special events in Moraga including: July 4th Celebration, Pear Festival, Hacienda Nights, Leisure Sport Triathlon, Moraga Beautiful, Breakfast with Santa and Santa Visits. The department is in charge of publishing the Town Crier and Activity Guide.

The Parks and Recreation Department oversee Park Rentals and Facility Rentals in Moraga.

Hacienda de las Flores park is a unique facility available for private and group rentals.  The Hacienda de las Flores can make your special event or wedding a celebration to remember.

The department works closely with the Moraga School District, Saint Mary’s College, Moraga Park Foundation, the Hacienda Foundation of Moraga, and Moraga Movers.
