Recreation Leaders (I & II)

Salary:  $12 - $18.88 hourly

The
Recreation Leader I position is responsible for providing high-level programs and services through the Parks and Recreation Department which provide concrete, positive experiences for youth and which promote qualities that are essential to raising successful young people. Recreation Leaders (I) are responsible for implementing the curriculum for the Town’s day camp program which offer youth daily activities, including arts, crafts, games, field trips, and special events. This position may also work additional seasonal events for the Parks and Recreation Department throughout the year.

In addition to Recreation Leader I responsibilities, the Recreation Leader II position is responsible for supervision of part-time staff,  day camp participants, and creating curriculum.

Engineering Intern

Salary:  $12.48 - $20.00 hourly

The
Engineering Intern position performs a wide variety of tasks in the field and/or office, with extensive focus on importing plans into digital format. The successful candidate must possess the knowledge of basic research, analysis and statistical methods; have the ability to effectively work with others; and utilize the Microsoft software suite proficiently. Experience with ArcGIS and AutoCAD are highly desirable. The ability to lift and manually transport field survey and inspection equipment and work in a variety of weather conditions is also required. The Engineering intern will assist with projects such as pavement reconstruction, public outreach for cleanwater, storm drain easement research and inventory, ADA self-evaluation and field investigations for public requests.

Associate Civil Engineer

Salary:  $7,929 - $9,638 monthly

The
Associate Civil Engineer position will focus mainly on land development projects but offers a unique opportunity to work on a diverse array of other assignments, including Town capital projects, transportation planning and traffic engineering, and construction and maintenance of public infrastructure. The ideal candidate would also have extensive work experience and knowledge in asset management of storm drain systems using GIS. The Associate Civil Engineer will provide essential input to the small but dedicated staff team in a community-focused organization that values initiative, energy, and a willingness to work across disciplines and departments to ensure quality service and development that respects and enhances Moraga’s unique community, conditions, and character.
