Planning Director

Salary:  $11,455 - $13,924 monthly

The Planning Director oversees the administration and management of the Planning Department. Under administrative direction of the Town Manager, the Planning Director supervises the Town’s Planning Department activities. Responsibilities include strategic planning for use of resources, coordinating the activities of the department with those of other local departments and agencies, and ensuring that services provided are of the highest quality. The incumbent is accountable for accomplishing departmental planning and operational goals and objectives, and for furthering Town goals and objectives within general policy guidelines.

Senior Civil Engineer

Salary:  $9,515 - $11,015 monthly

Under minimum supervision, the Senior Civil Engineer position provides journey level engineering assistance to the Town by managing Town capital projects at all stages of planning, design, and construction; conducting the plan check process for all subdivision and private developments; providing transportation planning and traffic engineering; assisting in the development, coordination, and management of engineering programs; operations and maintenance programs and services and performs related duties as required.

Police Officer (Lateral and Academy Graduates)

Salary:  $6,874 - $8,772 monthly

As a
Police Officer (Lateral and Academy Graduate), you will be required to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service; enforce laws and ordinances; monitor and control traffic; prevent crime; administer first aid when needed;  make arrests;  serve warrants and subpoenas;  interview victims and witnesses; interrogate suspects; process crime scenes for evidence; process and transport prisoners; investigate crimes and prepare comprehensive written reports; testify in court; present cases for prosecution to the District Attorneys office; speak before public groups on job related topics and provide other services as needed.

Recreation Leader I (Summer Camps)

Salary:   $13.00 - $15.80 hourly

The Recreation Leader (I) position with the Parks and Recreation Department is a seasonal position with the department's Summer Camp programs running from June 1 through August 7, 2020.  The position is responsible for providing concrete, positive experiences for youth which promote qualities that are essential to raising successful young people.  Recreation Leaders are responsible for implementing curriculum for the Town's youth programs including Day Camp, Preschool Camp, and Teen Camps.  This position may also work additional seasonal events for the Parks and Recreation Department throughout the year.

Recreation Leader II (Summer Camps)

Salary:  $16.83 - $20.46 hourly

The Recreation Leader (II) position is responsible for providing high-level programs and services through the Parks and Recreation Department which provides concrete, positive experience for youth and which promote qualities that are essential to raising successful young people.  Recreation Leaders (II) are responsible for creating and implementing the curriculum for the Town's day camp programs for school age, preschool, or young teens.  Daily activities include arts, crafts, games, fieldtrips, and special events.  This position is responsible for supervision of part-time staff and camp participants.  This position may also work additional seasonal events for the Parks and Recreation Department throughout the year.
